Mungai Eve responds to the claims surrounding her purportedly leaked video.

Influencer and content creator Mungai Eve has denied being involved in a controversial video circulating on Telegram. In an interview with Lydia Wanjiru, she expressed that some people are determined to damage her reputation.

“People will always talk. Right now, it doesn’t affect me because I don’t check Telegram. Someone told me I was trending there, but I had no idea. People have tried to tarnish my name and failed, so now they’re resorting to leaking sex tapes,” Eve said.

She emphasized that she would never be involved in a sex tape scandal, adding, “There’s no way I’d ever get caught up in that. I don’t have steamy photos of myself because I don’t take them. What’s the point? Even if I did, what if someone saw them and shared them?”

Reflecting on her rise to fame, she credited her early success with helping her avoid such pitfalls. “I became famous early, and I couldn’t afford to risk sending nude photos. Plus, I was living with a man, so why would I do that? I skipped that foolishness. If I had sent such photos, they would haunt me now. The benefit of getting famous young is that you become very cautious.”

Mungai Eve also shared how financial struggles once defined her life. “At that time, we had no money because we’d spent it all on building. We were surviving by spending any money we got on materials like mabati or cement. We didn’t have anything left, and all our funds were directed toward the house.”

In a past interview, Eve revealed that she moved in with Director Trevor out of necessity rather than love. “It wasn’t love; the situation brought us together. I moved in with him because I didn’t want to go back to my parents’ house, and I had nowhere else to go. It was around the time people were starting to notice me, and we had to focus on our careers,” she explained.
