The Ministry of Interior and National Administration has announced the successful restoration of the eCitizen platform, which had been temporarily disrupted on Friday due to a technical issue. In a statement released in the evening, eCitizen Director General, Amb. Isaac Ochieng, explained that the disruption was caused by an internal network issue affecting the operating system.
Amb. Ochieng emphasized that the technical team took swift action to resolve the problem, and the platform is now fully operational. “We regret the inconvenience caused to our clients and thank them for their patience and support as we worked to resolve the issue,” he stated.
The eCitizen Director reassured the public of the State department’s ongoing commitment to providing convenient, reliable, and accessible government services.
