Kenyan entrepreneur and musician Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, once again displayed her sharp wit and humor when a fan’s comment about her figure led to online speculation.
Celebrating Her Sister-in-Law
Recently, Akothee celebrated her sister-in-law, Faith Omondi Odero, who graduated with a Master’s degree. Sharing the joyous occasion on her social media, Akothee commended Faith for her resilience and calm demeanor, which she said brings harmony to their family.
In the photos and videos shared, Akothee looked stylish in a black maxi dress that accentuated her figure, while her partner, Nelly Oaks, complemented her attire in a black suit, white shirt, and red tie. The couple appeared joyful as they posed with Faith during the celebratory event.
Fan Sparks Pregnancy Speculation
While many fans congratulated Faith, one fan’s comment about Akothee’s appearance raised questions. The fan jokingly asked, “Ni kitambi ama Nelly Junior? Congratulations to your in-law,” suggesting the possibility of pregnancy or weight gain.
True to her bold personality, Akothee responded with her signature humor, tagging the fan and simply replying with the word: “Both.” Her clever response left fans laughing, and many praised her for handling the comment with humor.
Akothee’s Motherhood Journey
As a mother of five, Akothee is no stranger to conversations about motherhood. She has three daughters with her ex-husband, Jared Okello, and two sons from other relationships.
Earlier this year, Akothee shared some of the hardships she has faced as a mother, including the loss of her 8-month-old son in her early years of motherhood, which deeply impacted her. She also opened up about a miscarriage she suffered in late 2022, which would have been her sixth child. This loss occurred during a challenging time in her life, just two months after separating from her then-husband, Omosh.
Despite these challenges, Akothee has expressed her desire to have more children and is hopeful about expanding her family. She revealed that Nelly Oaks shares this dream and is eager to have four children.
