Guardian Angel Responds to Allegations of Having a Secret Child

In a candid interview on December 15, renowned Kenyan musician Guardian Angel dismissed allegations of infidelity and having a secret child, calling them baseless and irrelevant.

The artist reaffirmed his deep love for his wife, Esther Musila, emphasizing the strength of their bond.

“I don’t pay attention to such things. These are just silly claims. I don’t have time for them. Such stories fade quickly, and now they’re already forgotten. So, who looks foolish now? Those people are left stranded, searching for their next topic,” he stated confidently.

Guardian Angel, recently celebrated as one of Kenya’s most-streamed artists, expressed his contentment in marriage.

“I love my wife deeply. The way I love her, no one could tempt me with ‘vanilla or strawberry vibes.’ With my wife, it’s the whole package—respect, deep love, full support. I have peace, money, and everything a man could ask for. I’m very content,” he said.

The Funga Mdomo hitmaker added that he rarely reacts to baseless accusations unless absolutely necessary, and even then, he seeks divine guidance first.

“If I’m pushed to the wall, I will defend myself thoroughly. I leave it to God first, but if things escalate, I will act seriously. If needed, I’ll confront the person directly and say, ‘What’s the issue? Let’s discuss this openly,’” he explained.

The couple’s relationship has often drawn public attention due to their age difference. Guardian Angel previously expressed openness to having a child with Esther, a mother of three, but shared that he is at peace with the possibility it may not happen.

In November 2024, Esther Musila addressed rumours that her husband had secretly married a second wife and fathered a child.

The speculation began when a TikTok video of the couple dancing to Guardian Angel’s new song, Mimi Ndiye Yule, went viral. The couple, dressed in matching outfits, radiated happiness, but some commenters stirred up rumours.

Musila responded with humour, saying, “It’s now you’re finding out? You’ll come so we carry the baby.”

In another video where she danced solo, a fan asked, “Naskia umeletewa second wife” (I hear you’ve been given a second wife). Esther laughed and replied, “Naskia pia” (I’ve also heard).

Her lighthearted and confident responses demonstrated her refusal to engage with negativity.
