MCA Tricky Shares Why He Chooses Not to Spend Money on His Girlfriends

Churchill Show comedian MCA Tricky humorously calls himself “Africa’s most stingy man” when it comes to spending on girlfriends.

In an interview with Nairobi News, MCA Tricky explained his cautious approach to finances in relationships, emphasizing that he prioritizes his future over lavish romantic expenditures. “Even the girls I’ve dated can attest that I’m the stingiest man in Africa. I’m very reluctant to spend on women,” he admitted.

Reflecting on his financial struggles, he shared, “I haven’t forgotten my roots. Some men spend up to Sh50,000 on their partners, but I could never do that. The most I’ve spent was Sh10,000, and I regretted it.”

MCA Tricky mentioned he’s holding off on major spending until he finds a partner he plans to marry, saying, “I’ll only splurge if she’s going to be my wife.”

He expressed surprise at men who give their girlfriends a maintenance allowance, saying, “That’s why I don’t have a girlfriend. I’m saving for my future wife. At least when you give to your wife, it stays in the home,” he laughed.

When considering a future spouse, MCA Tricky places a high value on education. “I prefer her to be well-educated. I know the importance of education and what it would mean for her before I even meet her,” he said.

The comedian is less concerned with appearance, stating, “The rest is God-given; you can’t judge how someone was made.” He humorously added, “But she shouldn’t drink more than me.”
