“I called Mejja and told him I was going through a tough time. We were both facing our own challenges,” Iyanii shared. The two connected over their shared experiences and decided to collaborate on the song, hoping to send a message of hope to their listeners.

“Despite everything we go through in life, things will get better,” Iyanii added.

When asked about the causes of his depression, Iyanii attributed it to the pressures and uncertainties of life. “Sometimes, it feels like everything is overwhelming, and you feel alone with no one to turn to,” he explained. Nonetheless, he expressed gratitude for the support of friends and colleagues.

Iyanii also emphasized the role of music in reaching and uplifting his audience. “I want people to hear my songs, whether at clubs, weddings, or at home, and feel inspired,” he said, highlighting his passion for creating positive, energetic music.
