Diana Marua reveals the significant age gap between her and Bahati.

Digital content creator and aspiring musician Diana Marua has shed more light on the notable age gap between her and her husband, former gospel artist Kelvin ‘Bahati’ Kioko, in a playful video shared on Bahati’s Instagram page.

During a scenic boat ride in Zanzibar, Bahati started by expressing his excitement, saying, “This is the best urban vacation holiday I have ever had! Zanzibar Island,” as the couple enjoyed a variety of dishes.

The serene environment and Bahati’s remarks sparked a humorous reflection from Diana, as she recounted a conversation they had about Rwanda’s geography.

“You know, it just hit me… remember a few days ago you mentioned Rwanda being landlocked? I didn’t really understand because I couldn’t recall what that meant. Landlocked and water… since GHC, I’ve never been able to distinguish between the two,” Diana admitted, surprising Bahati, who couldn’t figure out what GHC stood for.

Laughing at her own admission, Diana clarified, “GHC stands for Geography, History, and Civics. And do you know when I last studied that? Almost 20 years ago! I finished high school in 2007. Imagine that!”

Shocked by the revelation, Bahati replied, “2007? I was in class 8!”

Diana seized the moment to tease him, saying, “That’s why you should respect me. I’m your elder. Apart from being your babe, I’m also your baby,” adding a playful jab at the social media comments about their age difference. “This is exactly why they call you Baha mtoto wa Diana, but I’ve taken good care of you.”

The fun banter continued as Bahati jokingly asked, “Is this why you don’t like talking about your age during your birthdays?” sparking a friendly debate between the two.

Captioning the video, Bahati humorously wrote, “It’s now official. I’ll be calling Diana Marua mum, and she’ll be calling me son,” accompanied by laughing emojis.
