Pastor Ng’ang’a Tells Rasta Women to Stop Attending His Church

Apostle James Maina Ng’ang’a, also known as “The Commander in Chief,” has publicly criticized women with Rasta hairstyles, urging them to stop attending his church services. In a recent TikTok video, the pastor expressed frustration over women coming to his church with Rasta hair, accusing them of leading young people astray.

He warned that any woman with Rasta hair would be required to shave it before entering his church, even going as far as to say that he would personally ensure this happens if necessary. “If you have Rasta, you must shave it before coming to where I am. If not, you won’t be allowed in. One Sunday, we will shave you. Women, you are the ones ruining this church, and your hair colour is like a microphone. You wear pants like Koinange,” he said.

The pastor also voiced his concerns about the rise of hypocrisy within his congregation, stating that outward appearances should reflect one’s inner character and actions. He criticized the lack of true love and morality among churchgoers, emphasizing that some people act worldly while professing faith.

“You may do things of the world, but with your mouth, you praise the Lord. But if you are a killer, a liar, a gossip, a thief, and lack the wisdom of God, your mind is focused on worldly things. You have no love or fellowship with the Holy Spirit. You are always talking about government matters,” he added.

In his video, Apostle Ng’ang’a urged both church members and aspiring preachers to acknowledge the presence of God and the Holy Spirit while avoiding hypocrisy. He encouraged faithful followers to remain true to their salvation and advised aspiring preachers to focus on preaching about the kingdom of God, rather than chasing after money, which he described as temporary.
