Harmonize Sparks Reactions with His Unexpected Church Appearance

Rajab Abdul Kahali, better known as Harmonize, attended a church service last weekend at the ministry of a well-known pastor, Tony Kapola. The Tanzanian singer received a warm welcome from the pastor, who also prayed for him.

Harmonize was invited to speak to the congregation, sharing, “There are many places I could have been today, but I chose to be here, where the voice of God is being heard. It’s a blessing. I’m a big fan of God.” He also reflected on the sermon, expressing gratitude for the blessings he received and promised to return to the church. “The pastor said we’re lucky to know God from a young age,” Harmonize remarked.

The artist, who is Muslim, then knelt, raised his hands, and received a prayer from the pastor. Later, he responded to fans on social media, saying, “We all depend on God. Get close to Him, and He will take care of the rest.”

Harmonize emphasized that, despite being a devout Muslim, he feels comfortable attending church services and rejected rumors that he was paid to attend. “It’s funny that people think I was paid to be there. No pastor can pay me or buy my faith; I’m past that. I’m proudly Muslim and will always attend churches that teach how to get closer to God.”

Fans reacted to his church appearance, with messages like:

  • Jescabethina: “God is one. May the Almighty give you what your heart desires.”
  • Sarafina Nyamvula: “From Kenya, God is the judge… don’t point fingers at others, check your own path to see if it pleases God. I don’t need your likes, but remember, a day is coming when everyone will be judged for their deeds. 🙏 May God give us a good end.”
  • Annastazia Jeremiah: “Harmonize, may God bless you. You are such a gentleman; Jesus chooses those who are worthy. You are worthy for Jesus.”
  • Regina Mussa: “Do not judge, so you won’t be judged. God knows who worships in spirit and truth. It’s not about being Muslim or Christian; we all belong to God. What matters is how you serve the God you believe in. Harmonize has chosen what he believes is the right way to serve God.”
