Tanzanian singers Zuchu and Nandy have long been compared and seen as rivals, but the two are now putting those rumors to rest. Nandy celebrated her 32nd birthday over the weekend, and Zuchu marked the occasion by sharing a heartfelt message on Instagram. Posting a video, she wrote, “Happy Birthday to our African Princess, we celebrate your greatness, Sis.”
The pair seem to be on friendly terms, despite past rumors of rivalry. Meanwhile, Nandy’s husband also honored her birthday with a touching tribute, celebrating her as a devoted wife and mother.
He wrote in Swahili, “In my daily prayers, I remember to thank God for making you part of my life… God has blessed me with a beautiful woman, wise and loving, who gave me a beautiful child and raises her well. You bring me joy every day with comforting words and vision.”
He added, “I wish the whole world knew how much I love you… Unfortunately, I’m not the best with words; these are just a few things I can say. The rest I will write in our book of love, filled with joy… highlighting all your wonderful qualities. Happy Birthday, My Everything, My PYG, My Friend a.k.a Kenaya’s Mama.”
