Life coach Muthoni wa Mukiri has some advice for girls in Nairobi regarding their choice of partners. She believes she has a crucial tip to help them avoid relationship issues in the future.
In a video on her social media, Muthoni directed her message to women involved with married men. She stated, “If you are a side chick and you expect your man to leave his wife for you and marry you, you need to realize that you’re committing to a man who has already cheated on his wife.”
She continued with her warning, emphasizing, “When you marry him, remember this. Also, the things he tells you about her—like how she yells or isn’t as attractive as you—are misleading. You both have your flaws, and he will start noticing those once you live together.”
Muthoni added that men often lack commitment and may find it easier to replace you than address issues in the marriage.
She elaborated on the 80/20 rule, explaining, “He is only seeking the 20% that he isn’t getting at home, which includes excitement and the fun you provide. However, being the 20% isn’t enough to sustain a marriage.”
She noted, “Many men who move in with their side chicks often end up returning to their first wives, if they’re willing to take them back. Even among celebrities who are second wives, many don’t last. Where have those marriages gone? Nowhere.”
Muthoni concluded her message with a caution, urging women to be careful and to avoid entanglements with married men.
