Vera Sidika is embracing her new appearance following a contouring procedure in the UK. Recently, she commented on the tragic situation of a Kenyan woman who passed away during a cosmetic surgery at a Nairobi clinic, urging women to exercise caution.
In a message to her followers, Vera highlighted the need for vigilance, emphasizing that every case can differ greatly. “The number of horror stories that come from that facility…what’s online is just the surface. I’ve heard crazy stories,” she revealed.
She extended her condolences to the woman’s family and underscored the importance of thorough research before undergoing any procedure.
“Please make sure to research thoroughly before placing your trust in anyone with your life. If you decide to go through with it, choose board-certified surgeons with significant experience,” she advised, emphasizing that extensive experience is crucial for ensuring both safety and satisfactory outcomes. “I would recommend surgeons with over 15 years of experience and thousands of successful surgeries.”
Vera was in Manchester, UK, where she opted for facial fillers instead of cosmetic surgery, a detail that has led to some confusion.
To clarify, Vera stated, “By the way, I did not have cosmetic surgery on my face. Some people need exposure, fr. I got fillers—they are temporary, lasting about nine months before they dissolve. Even with that, I had been researching since September 2023. It was not surgery—one full year of research before I proceeded.”
She also shared excerpts of her conversations with the clinic through direct messages, demonstrating how they guided her to send photos and details before her appointment.
Initially, Vera consulted for fillers for her chin, jawline, and cheeks, and also chose Russian lips, fox eyes, and a nose contour.
