Ethiopian Airlines announces direct Addis Ababa – Guinea Conakry flights

Ethiopian Airlines is set to launch its first-ever non-stop flights between Addis Ababa and Conakry, the capital of Guinea. Beginning November 30, the airline will operate at least three weekly flights using the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. With a flight time of approximately 9 hours and 5 minutes, these flights are scheduled to arrive in Conakry in the afternoon, departing the following morning.

This new route comes amid efforts to revitalize air traffic in Guinea, supported by the ongoing rehabilitation of regional airports. Additionally, Ethiopian Airlines is resuming flights to Monrovia, Liberia’s capital, for the first time since 2010. As a result, the airline will discontinue its stop in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, in favor of Monrovia.

As a Star Alliance member, Ethiopian Airlines continues to expand its footprint, now serving more than 50 African cities.
