MP Oscar Sudi gives Nuru Okanga KSh 1.3 million as a business investment.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has gifted social media influencer Nuru Okanga KSh 1.3 million to help him start a business. Sudi made this announcement on Monday night during their meeting on the Obinna TV show.

In addition to the financial support, Sudi also promised to purchase a three-bedroom house in Nairobi for Okanga under the affordable housing program. This gesture comes after Sudi previously vowed to “change his life” following Okanga’s disclosure of his difficult living conditions, such as having to shower outdoors.

Sudi asked Okanga, “How do you want me to help you?” prompting Obinna to encourage Okanga to share all his problems, assuring him that Sudi would find solutions.

Okanga explained that he is the breadwinner of his family and has been wanting to start a salon for his wife but lacked the capital. He initially requested KSh 300,000 to set up the salon but then expressed that if he received KSh 1 million, it would greatly improve his life.

Okanga plans to use the money to invest in a posho mill, open a car yard, establish a kiosk, and set up a furniture shop in his rural area. He also mentioned that KSh 300,000 would be allocated to opening a salon for his wife.

However, Sudi and Obinna questioned how Okanga would manage all these businesses simultaneously, with Obinna pointing out that Okanga has no prior business experience yet wants to start multiple ventures.

Sudi agreed to provide the money but advised Okanga to focus on starting with the posho mill and car wash first, ensuring they are well-managed and stable before expanding to other businesses.
