I&M Bank has been ranked as the leading bank in Kenya in the 2024 Kenya Banking Consumer Sentiment on Social Media Index, powered by Data EQ. This ranking is based on a comprehensive analysis of consumer sentiment towards Kenya’s major banks, drawn from over 502,000 public online posts.
I&M Bank achieved a score of over 72 percent on the Data EQ Index, outperforming the industry average by 56 percent.
This accolade follows another significant recognition at this year’s Think Business Banking Awards, where I&M Bank was named the Most Customer-Centric Bank.
Expressing gratitude for the recognition, I&M Bank Kenya CEO Gul Khan emphasized the bank’s commitment to customer satisfaction, stating, “These awards underscore our dedication to listening to our customers.”
He highlighted the bank’s efforts in providing relevant products and services to all Kenyans, including free bank-to-M-PESA transfers for Personal and Solo Biz (Sole Proprietors) customers, enhanced digital services such as the I&M Bank App, and the expansion of their branch network.
As I&M Bank celebrates its 50th anniversary, Khan expressed pride in the team’s hard work and passion for customer service.
The analysis categorized the data into three sentiment types: public, operational, and reputational.
