Bullets’ star Hato disappears as the team lands in Addis for CAF qualifier.

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced that Jane Hato, a player for the Kenya U-20 women’s national team and Police Bullets, is missing.

Hato did not appear when the team was set to depart for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, this morning for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League Cecafa Zonal Qualifiers.

In a memo, the FKF stated: “We are aware of the concerning situation involving Jane Hato, the captain of the Kenya U-20 women’s national team and a Kenya Police Bullets player.”

“Jane was supposed to join her teammates for the trip to Ethiopia for the CAF Women’s Champions League zonal qualifiers. However, she did not show up at the designated meeting point, and her current whereabouts are unknown,” the memo partially read.

The federation has asked anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward and contact the nearest police station, her family (Ann Aluoch at 0710322 573), or FKF (Jectan at 0727382466).

Hato, a midfielder, previously played for the Mathare United women’s team.
