Shakib Cham has disclosed that he does not foresee having children with his wife, Zari Hassan, due to her age.
In a recent audio clip where he spoke in Luganda, Shakib mentioned, “I don’t expect to have kids with her. She’s at an age where having children is no longer feasible. I’m not with her to have kids, but I admire and love her.”
Shakib also shared that marrying Zari has brought him both fame and difficulties, including facing disrespect. His remarks came shortly after Zari threatened to find someone else following a disagreement regarding Diamond Platnumz’s visit to her home in South Africa for their daughter’s birthday.
“If my guy doesn’t want to recognize who I am, that’s a shame! I will definitely find someone who will appreciate my worth. I am worth so much more,” Zari declared.
She added, “If you’re not going to recognize my value, I’m going to find someone to replace you.”
Recently, Zari suggested that if Shakib were to take a second wife, she might also consider having a second husband. “In South Africa, we can have two husbands now; it’s a new law here. If you find someone else, I can also get a second husband,” she said on their joint YouTube channel.
Addressing Shakib, Zari reminded him of his right as a Muslim man to marry up to four wives, while she, as a resident of South Africa, could have two husbands.
“Since we’re already dealing with a long-distance relationship, why not explore the idea of having four wives and two husbands? It could be a big family,” she suggested.
Zari brought this up after suspecting Shakib of showing interest in other women through direct messages. “It’s no different for you just because you’re a man. Instead of cheating, I would simply marry someone else,” she reassured him.
