President Ruto attends the 100th anniversary celebration of TVET at Kabete.

Today, President William Ruto served as the chief guest at the celebration marking the centenary of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Kenya. The event took place at Kabete National Polytechnic in Nairobi.

This year commemorates the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Native Industrial Training Depot, now known as Kabete National Polytechnic, which was founded in 1924.

In March, President Ruto inaugurated the TVET torch at Nyeri National Polytechnic as part of the centenary celebrations. The torch traveled through all 47 counties before culminating at Kabete today.
