LONDON, United Kingdom, Jul 30 – Fulham has agreed to sign midfielder Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal for an initial fee of £27 million (Sh4.5 billion), with an additional £7 million available in performance-related add-ons.
This transfer marks a club-record signing for Fulham, and the add-ons are reportedly tied to the club’s success in cup competitions and European tournaments.
The 23-year-old midfielder has not featured in Arsenal’s last two pre-season matches as the transfer was finalized.
An academy graduate, Smith Rowe is well-liked by fans but has seen his playing time diminish at Arsenal, now behind Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Bukayo Saka in the lineup.
He has earned three caps for the England national team, with his last appearance occurring in 2022.
