More than 40 coaches from across the country are set to receive higher national diplomas in soccer coaching following a four-day training session organized by the United States Soccer Federation in partnership with the 365 Soccer Program.
The initiative, called ‘By The Book Sports Ministry Training,’ is currently taking place in Kiambu County and aims to improve coaching skills while mentoring coaches to enhance soccer performance nationwide.
The coaching clinic started on Sunday and will run until Thursday.
At the official launch of Season 3 of the program, Hussein Mohammed, CEO of Extreme Sports and vice chairman of Murang’a Seal, highlighted the importance of incorporating football into the National Agenda to promote the sport at a national level.
Hussein also called on grassroots leaders to invest in and foster partnerships that support the training and mentoring of talented youth and the next generation of soccer stars.
