Posta Increases MPost Charges: 2000% for Corporates, 400% for Individuals.

Posta Kenya Corporation (PKC) has announced a significant increase in MPost charges for virtual addresses, effective from July 5, 2024.

Corporate box holders will see a price increase of 2,200 percent, while individual box holders will experience a 400 percent rise. The new rates are set at KSh 9,450 for corporate boxes and KSh 2,000 for individual boxes, up from the previous annual rate of KSh 400.

Post Master General John Tonui stated that these adjustments are part of PKC’s ongoing efforts to provide innovative solutions to their customers. “PCK wishes to inform our esteemed customers and the general public that the rates for MPost Virtual Boxes/Addresses for both Corporate and Individual have been adjusted with effect from 5th July 2024,” Tonui said. He emphasized PKC’s commitment to delivering innovative communication, logistical, and financial solutions.

MPost is a service that converts mobile numbers into virtual post office addresses, facilitating mail and parcel delivery for individuals and businesses.
