High Court Judge Daniel Ogembo Found Dead in His Home.

Presiding Judge of Siaya High Court, Justice Daniel Ogembo Ogola, was found dead in his residence in Siaya town on Wednesday.

Justice Ogembo’s body was discovered by his driver, who had arrived in the morning to take him to work.

It is reported that Justice Ogembo had worked until the end of the previous day before being dropped off at his house by the same driver. The next morning, when the driver went to pick him up, he found the door locked. After calling Justice Ogembo and receiving no response, the driver checked on him but found the door still locked from the inside.

The driver then alerted other Judiciary staff, who arrived with security personnel. They broke down the door and found Justice Ogembo’s lifeless body on his bed.

Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo confirmed Justice Ogembo’s death and stated that his body has been moved to a funeral home in Kisumu for preservation and autopsy.

Justice Ogembo had served as the Presiding Judge of Siaya High Court for nearly two years, succeeding Lady Justice Roseline Aburili.
