Azziad Nasenya, a well-known content creator, has clarified that she will not be part of Kenya’s delegation for the Paris Olympics 2024.
Azziad expressed her gratitude to her supporters and addressed the false allegations, stating that she is not representing Kenya at the Paris Olympics 2024.
“My involvement with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports was specifically for the Creatives Technical Committee of the Talanta Hela Council, chaired by Daniel Ndambuki, also known as Churchill,” Azziad clarified.
She further elaborated, “I was appointed to represent the youth on this committee, but it was disbanded in June 2023, and I have not been involved since.”
Azziad also denied claims regarding her travel funding, asserting that her trips to Dubai and other locations were privately funded by clients and family, not by the Government of Kenya. She mentioned that her Dubai trip was for a content creation campaign fully funded by a client, refuting accusations of misusing public funds.
In conclusion, Azziad expressed pride in her generation’s efforts to advocate for government accountability. She offered condolences to families who have lost loved ones and reaffirmed her commitment to using her platform for positive change in Kenya.
