The Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) has announced a series of memorial services to honor their late founder and overseer, Bishop Allan Kiuna, who passed away on Tuesday at a Nairobi hospital.
The church has stated that further details regarding funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.
“We encourage everyone to join us in prayer for the family and the wider church community during this challenging period,” JCC expressed.
The memorial services will commence today, Wednesday, and continue until Friday, July 12. There will be three services daily from 5 pm to 7:30 pm at JCC Parklands. On Saturday, July 13, a fourth service will be held at the same venue from 2 pm to 5 pm. The final service is scheduled for Sunday, July 14, starting at 9 am, featuring special worship to celebrate Bishop Kiuna’s life and legacy.
The church remembered Bishop Kiuna as an extraordinary individual who profoundly impacted many lives and dedicated himself fervently to spreading the gospel worldwide.
“His unwavering faith, compassion, and dedication to both the church and the community have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him,” the church remarked.
A family spokesperson confirmed Bishop Kiuna’s passing, noting that he had been admitted to the hospital following a decline in his health on Tuesday. He had been battling multiple myeloma cancer since 2018/2019.
