The family of the late Fred Omondi expressed heartfelt gratitude today to all those who generously supported them from the time of Fred’s passing until his burial.
“On behalf of the entire Fred Omondi family, we extend our sincerest thanks. Your grace and dignity guided us as we honored Fred Omondi’s life. Your compassion brought us comfort during our darkest days.”
They also conveyed appreciation to Fred’s fans, friends, and colleagues in the comedy industry: “We are deeply grateful for your support and kindness during this challenging time. Your outpouring of compassion and respect for Fred Omondi was deeply comforting to us. May God bless you all.”
Fred Omondi, a comedian, was laid to rest at his family home in Sega, Siaya County, on June 29th, following his tragic death in a road accident on June 15th, 2024. The burial was attended by prominent figures including Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Siaya Governor James Orengo, and various members of parliament and comedians from the industry.
In a separate acknowledgment, Njambi Koikai’s family also thanked everyone for their support during her passing:
“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support we received during Njambi’s farewell.”
They remembered Njambi fondly, reflecting on the impact of her life and expressing ongoing love and remembrance for her.
